Nikko National Park

This is my last page for Japan as we are in a new month and moving on to another port-of-call.  I put some old paintings and a map (images found on the web) on this page as I thought they were beautiful.  But they don't do this enchanting place justice.  This was my favorite spot on your father's and my "trip around the world".  It is the site of several shrines, gorgeous waterfalls, lakes and a cedar forest planted decades ago.  It also happens to be a favorite Japanese tourist destination.
